This is Veretis

Pulling the levers to make tomorrow better than today.

Veretis was founded in 2018 by a team of psychologists with over 40 combined years of clinical and business experience. We have grown to now support over 400,000 lives across 11 countries.

We look at the globally increasing mental health challenges as something that requires new and innovative ways of thinking. Awareness has been achieved. It is now about building acceptance and action, to reduce the obstacles preventing people from reaching out for support.

Veretis is a global provider of mental health care services which range across various areas of psychology. These include clinical, organisational, forensic, educational, neuropsychology, and sport. We have now ventured into MedTech looking for further opportunities to reduce the emotional, behavioural and attitudinal impact of mental health issues.

We are a passionate team headquartered in Australia, looking to make a lasting impression. The common ‘minor’ issues such as stress, anxiety and depression can lead to significant negative outcomes for individuals, their families, friends, and communities if left unaddressed. We solve how society can better address these mental health challenges that impact the majority of the community

How you think, feel, and behave is at the core of human performance and wellbeing. If the psychosocial climate of your organisation isn’t already at the top of your organisational strategy, you are at risk.

At Veretis, we believe everyone has a purpose in life. Whether professional or personal, it’s when this purpose meets passion that individual and group potential becomes limitless. We live by the following values:

Be the one in the arena

Based on the Citizenship in a Republic speech by Theodore Roosevelt.

Impact over image

To be known for the impact we make, not our image.

Be better today

To raise our own bar each day. Utilising the learnings of yesterday.

Chase the uncomfortable

Nothing happens in a state of comfort – continually pushing boundaries

Holding ourselves accountable

Know that each day it is easier to not live these values than to hold them – this is why they are important.

Oliver Brecht

Managing Director / Senior Consultant

Oliver is the Managing Director and Senior Psychologist at Veretis. He divides his time across the three practice areas of Veretis Group: Veretis, Veretis Legal Psychology, and Voxus. Oliver has worked across major culture enhancement, team development and leadership development initiatives with several high-profile organisations and individual clients across Australia. He has accreditation in the Human Synergistic suite of individual, team, and organisational tools. Since joining Veretis, Oliver has worked extensively with the players and coaching staff at the Sydney Swans AFL and Sydney Roosters NRL clubs. Oliver has provided personal coaching and team development initiatives to players and coaches within these teams, and regularly provides support to jockeys across NSW and the ACT.

Currently, Oliver is spending a lot of time working to support organisations in meeting the new psychosocial risk laws which are being implemented across the country. He is helping organisations to understand the risks inherent in their industry and workplace, along with how to mitigate the potential of these risks being realised. For those organisations who have been found in breach of the laws, Oliver is helping them to appropriately respond to the breaches, helping to limit the financial impact to the organisation.

Oliver completed his Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at the University of South Australia before returning to Sydney and completing his Master of Professional Psychology at the University of Wollongong. Oliver’s dynamic and innovative approach is focused on delivering solutions for his clients. Since joining Veretis, he has broadly expanded the scope of services on offer and provides the link many organisations need to communicate with and to understand the next generation.
